A neighborhood bistro site where guests order from their table, review the bill with tip and bill-split, and get a real printable receipt — all in a single HTML file with an elegant dark dining-room design.

The problem

Small restaurants pay monthly for tablet ordering systems built for chains. What they actually need is simple: guests see the menu, order, and get a clear bill — without another subscription.

The solution

• Course-based menu (starters → drinks), dotted-leader pricing like a printed card
• Live bill with tip presets (0/15/18/20%) and split between up to 12 guests — "each" amount shown instantly
• Checkout prints a real monospace receipt (browser print → Save as PDF works too)
• Zero dependencies: opens on any phone or laptop, kitchen-side state persists locally

Result

The whole order → bill → receipt flow runs for real, and the design shows we can build brand-feel websites, not just admin tools. Perfect demo for hospitality clients abroad.
